Police investigate after fight leads to lock down at Stratford High School

STRATFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– A high school in Stratford was on lock down after a fight allegedly involving a knife broke out on Friday morning.

Police say officers responded to Stratford High School at 45 N Parade Street, after a fight broke out and someone alleged that a knife was displayed.

There were no injuries reported and police say there is no threat. The school was placed in a lock down as a precaution, but the lock down has since been lifted.

Police say the individuals involved in the fight have been identified and secured. They also say that two arrests are pending.

Officers remain on scene at the school investigating the incident.

According to police, this was an isolated incident and there are no threats to other students, faculty or the public.
