SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (WTNH)–The right and center lanes near Exit 28 eastbound on Interstate 84 in Southington were closed for a while after a tractor trailer rollover. The tractor trailer was hauling grain, which ended up spilling across all of the lanes of the highway.
The Connecticut Department of Transportation sent crews to the scene.
State police tweeted the following at 3:41 p.m.:
#CTtraffic: I84 eb x28 Southington right and center lanes closed for minor injury TT rollover. TT hauling grain. Grain spilled across all lanes. DOT notified.

The area was cleared around 6 p.m.
The highway has been fully reopened.
