According to State Police, Troopers were dispatched to the Brooklyn Walmart, located on 450 Providence Turnpike, for a suspicious vehicle spotted in the parking lot. State Police recognized the license plate given out over the radio, and realized that Joshua Robinson,35, of Danielson, had two active warrants out for his arrest.
Troopers, along with a State Police Canine Unit, secured the area and started a search for Robinson. Troopers determined that Robinson was hiding inside of the Walmart, and immediately began a systematic search for him.

Robinson was spotted in the gardening department, where he was ordered to surrender. Troopers said Robinson attempted to get away on foot, and ran into nearby woods. Troopers were able to locate and arrest Robinson a short time later.
Robinson was transported back to Troop D where he was processed and charged with interfering with a police officer, and two counts of failure to appear. Robinson was held on a combined bond of $56,000 and is to appear in Danielson Superior Court on January 31,2018.
