National Change Your Password Day observed Thursday

(WTNH) — Thursday marks a reminder to keep your personal information safe!

Feb. 1 will be National Change Your Password Day.

According to a University of Phoenix survey, only 35 percent of people update their passwords on a regular basis.

The survey also found that only 42 percent of Americans make their passwords different across websites and only 29 percent of people say password protecting is part of their company’s cyber-security policy.
