(WTNH)– If you’re looking for fun, we have 8 Things to Do This Weekend, including theatrical performances, sports events and kids’ activities.

Baby and Johnny are back!  See Dirty Dancing at the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford.  There are two shows on Saturday.

At The Bushnell Center for Performing Arts in Hartford, find Something Rotten!, a hilarious spoof on Shakespeare,playing Saturday and Sunday.

Or get athletic at Ski Sundown’s Rail Jam on Saturday.  It’s a competition for terrain park skiers and snowboarders, also a great time for spectators!

Powder Ridge in Middlefield will also be busy Saturday at the 2nd Annual Downhill Grip & Slip Mountain Bike Race.  It’s extreme and takes place in the snow!

Head to the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford on Saturday or Sunday for the 13th Annual Connecticut Kids Fair, featuring activities, entertainment and product sampling.

The UCONN Women’s Basketball takes on the Cincinnati Bearcats at Hartford’s XL Center on Sunday afternoon.

Feeling romantic?  Check out the 16th Annual Winter Wedding Showcase at Anthony’s Ocean View in New Haven on Sunday.  Expect 40 vendors and awesome giveaways.

And, it’s opening weekend for RiverQuest’s Winter Wildlife Cruises leaving from Essex.  See animals, such as the incredible bald eagle during this unique time on the water.  Here’s an extra!  Also in Essex, the Connecticut River Museum is launching it’s latest exhibit about eagles, certainly a popular bird this weekend!
