Car crashes into pole in Willington

WILLINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — Eversource is on scene after a car crashed into a pole in Willington early Thursday morning.

According to authorities, fire units were at the scene where a car crashed into a utility pole in the 100 block of Willington Hill Road (Route 320).

Officials say Eversource was requested to the scene and one person was transported to Windham County Memorial Hospital.

There is no word on the cause of this crash.

No further details are available at this time.
