Report It Recap: February 2, 2018

(WTNH)– Snow and the Super Bowl were both big hits in our “Report It Inbox” this week.

We had a little break from the snow but now it’s back. Earlier this week many of you were expecting a dusting overnight. Well, surprise. Some parts of the state saw several inches, especially in eastern Connecticut.

Slippery conditions were causing a number of accidents and back ups, especially on I-395.

Some kids were enjoying the day off from school. An open invitation for just about everyone to play outside.

Jeanette in North Stonington made the Lombardi Trophy out of snow. That’s talent right there.

The Patriots gnome was in Cape Cod this week. While one little guy has a message for Tom Brady.

One eagle was not from Philadelphia, but spotted in Guilford. I bet I can guess who he’s rooting for in the big game this weekend.

Many of you captured some great shots of the super blue moon.

A viewer snapped a photo of the plane crash in Meriden.

It looks like beavers have gotten to some trees near Stratford.

Robert took a cake decorating class with his mom.

Finally, some beauty shots from across the state. Keep those photos coming.
