Capitol Report: Poll finds Malloy to be ‘least-liked governor in the country’

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — This Wednesday, Governor Dannel Malloy will make his final budget address.

The Capitol Report team will be on-hand, along with Chief Capitol Correspondent Mark Davis.

After getting shut out of last year’s budget negotiations, it should be interesting to see what kind of response his plan will get.

A poll found Gov. Malloy to be the “least-liked governor in the country.”

The Q4 poll from 2017 by Morning Consult ranked him behind New Jersey’s Chris Christie, who is now out.

A whopping 68 percent disapprove of the job Gov. Malloy is doing, and only 23 percent approve of the governor.
