Beardsley Zoo director cleans eagle habitat in Eagles jersey

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) — The bald eagles at the Beardsley Zoo will soon be flying in a newly-cleaned habitat!

It is all part of a Super Bowl wager among some regional zoos.

The Patriots lost the big game, so the director of the Beardsley Zoo, Gregg Dancho, cleaned the eagles’ habitat while wearing a Philadelphia Eagles jersey!

He also has to donate $1,000 to conservation work or a program for young people at the winning zoo.
