Study: Connecticut ranked among top half of states for single people

(WTNH) — Love is in the air with Valentine’s Day around the corner.

A new study came out on Tuesday that ranks the best and worst states to live in if you’re single.

WalletHub compared all states across 27 factors of “Dating-friendliness” from movie costs to nightlife options.

California came in at number one followed by Florida at two and New York at number three.

Massachusetts ranked seventh and Connecticut was 20th-best, according to the study.

The worst state for finding love turned out to be Arkansas.

The study also found more than 45 percent of adults in the United States are single.
