Siren test conducted at Millstone nuclear plant

WATERFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — The weather made for an interesting morning in Waterford.

Because of the low clouds and the snow, the siren test at the Millstone Nuclear Power Plant sounded much louder and traveled much farther than it usually does.

The sirens are tested monthly.

Officials want people to know that there is no threat at Millstone.
