ASML to add jobs in Connecticut

WILTON, Conn. (WTNH) — One Connecticut company is adding jobs to the Nutmeg State.

ASML, which manufactures chip-making equipment, is planning to grow its operations in Wilton through an expansion project.

The project will add up to 524 new jobs to its current workforce of 1,200 employees.

Governor Malloy released a statement in response to this good news for the state. It says, in part:

These newly created, high-paying jobs are exactly the kind of opportunities that our economic development efforts have helped generate.”
