Destination Location: News 8 goes to North Haven

(WTNH) — For Thursday’s Destination Location, News 8 took a tour of North Haven.

In the year 1790, people in North Haven were outnumbered by sheep. The exact numbers: 1,620 sheep to 1,236 people!

Prominent NBA Agent Dan Fegan was raised and North Haven and went to North Haven High School.

In 2007, North Haven had its claim to fame in Money Magazine coming in at number 86 for the 100 best places to live.

North Haven is a beautiful town to go sight seeing. Visitors can catch the sunset along the Quinnipiac River by Tidal Marsh Trail. Peter’s Rock Park is a great place to take your four legged friend for a walk.

Between Breakfast Connections and Amici Tavern, breakfast lunch and dinner is taken care of while out on the town.

You can work off all that food over at North Haven Crossfit. The community is nothing but supportive and positive.

The little dancers over at En L’air Studio of Dance are getting ready for their year end recital and they couldn’t be more excited.
