Crash with life-threatening injuries closes portion of Interstate 395

KILLINGLY, Conn. (WTNH) — Police say at least one person has suffered life-threatening injuries after a crash on Interstate 395 in Killingly.

According to Connecticut State Police, the highway is closed between exits 38 and 41 due to the collision.

Police say one car was involved in the incident and to expect delays.

At this time, officials have not said what caused the vehicle to crash.

There has been no word on when the highway will reopen.
