Flu clinics held across Connecticut on Saturday

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — On Saturday, folks are rolling up their sleeves to be protected from the flu.

Flu shot clinics are being held across the state in response to the widespread flu outbreak.

News 8 was joined by Public Health Emergency Response Coordinator Terry Cooper from the New Haven Public Health Department on Saturday morning.

He discusses why it is important for people to come out and get their flu shots.
