Tourists flock to California for elephant seals

(WTNH) — Some tourists are heading to the beaches in northern California to get a look at some elephant seals.

With the mating season for elephant seals reaching its peak, hundreds of them are showing up on the shore.

Officials say these seals can be up to 15 feet long and weigh 5,000 pounds.
