Police say on September 14th at around 11:45 p.m., officers responded to the crash on Colt Highway/Route 6, near Reservoir Road, where two people were killed and three others were injured.
In a 2014 Mazda 3 Sedan, that was traveling eastbound, was the driver, 46-year-old Angelique Michaud, the front seat passenger, 60-year-old Lisette Prince, the left rear seat passenger, 66-year-old Rejean St. Pierre, and the right rear seat passenger, 66-year-old Benoit Boislard, all from Quebec, Canada.
Both Pierre and Boislard died from their injuries sustained in the crash. Prince and Michaud were both injured, with Prince’s injuries being critical.
The driver of the 2010 Honda Accord, that was traveling westbound, was identified as 54-year-old Edward Brozynski, of Newington. He was taken to Saint France Hospital for injuries sustained the crash.
An investigation revealed that the Honda crossed the double yellow line into the eastbound lane and collided head-on with the Mazda.
On Friday, Brozynski was arrested on several charges relating to the crash, including manslaughter, assault and reckless endangerment. He was held on bond.
