‘Start with Hello’ theme of program presented by Sandy Hook Promise

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — The theme of a school assembly in New Haven on Monday: Start with Hello.

The program presented by Sandy Hook Promise was held at the John C. Daniels School.

The goal is to help students understand and recognize social isolation and reach out, include and connect with others in their school.

Sandy Hook Promise believes that character development and empathy for others will help students and adults beyond the classroom.
