Study: Facebook losing users to Snapchat

(WTNH) — Research shows Facebook is losing young users faster than ever to Snapchat.

Research firm E-Marketer says, for the first time, less than half of internet users aged 12 to 17 will use Facebook this year.

E-Marketer also estimates Instagram will lose two million users under 25 this year, while 1.9 million users will add Snapchat.

Regardless, Facebook is still the world’s most-popular social media site with more than two billion users.
