Connecticut dogs competing in Westminster Dog Show

(WTNH) — There will be lost of primping and pampering in New York City for the Westminster Dog Show Tuesday morning.

According to the Darien News ( 128 Connecticut dogs will compete in the show this year, which ranks as the seventh most of any state.

There will be roughly 29,000 dogs will be competing in the show this year.

A Connecticut dog has not won the title since 1999.

The show will begin in the big apple at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
