5th ranked Wilbur Cross ends drought against city rival Hillhouse


It had been four years since the guys at Wilbur Cross beat city rival Hillhouse in basketball, Wednesday night the Governors ended the drought with a 65-50 win.

Cross led from start to finish against the 9th ranked Academics, who played with out Mehkei Warren who is out with a knee injury.

Will Antrum had 15 for the Governors, who wrapped up the #1 seed in the upcoming SCC Tournament.

Davon Warner led Hillhouse with 13 points.
