UConn women’s field hockey player applies for accelerated rehabilitation program

STORRS, Conn. (WTNH/AP) — An All-American field hockey player at the University of Connecticut who has been charged with shoplifting is applying for an accelerated rehabilitation program.

Senior Charlotte Veitner has been accused of stealing $34 worth of makeup from the campus bookstore.
