HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)–Governor Malloy directed Thursday that all flags be lowered at half-staff in honor of the 17 victims of the mass shooting at Parkland, Florida’s Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

Flags will fly at half-staff starting Thursday and will remain until sunset on Monday, February 19th.

President Trump has also signed a presidential proclamation in memory of all those affected by the massacre. The President’s proclamation is also directing flags at half-staff nationwide at this time.
