New viral photo challenge has people snapping pics in craft stores

(ABC/WTNH) — The latest viral internet challenge has people taking pictures in an unlikely location.

Amateur photographers are snapping portraits of their friends inside craft stores for what is being called the ‘Hobby Lobby challenge’.

The trend began on Twitter, and grew in popularity due to two hashtags; #UglyLocationChallenge and #HobbyLobbyChallenge.

The subjects stand posing surrounded by decorative fake flowers, and the photos are later edited to reveal an unexpected look.
