(WTNH)– It’s the end of the workweek and around here that means Freebie Friday! Here’s a look at a few deals that may be able to stretch your dollar.

According to Freebie Shark, participating Sam’s Club’s will give its members a free cupcake Saturday around 1 p.m. for Member Appreciation Day.

There’s a free story time and activity at Barnes and Noble Saturday for the little ones at 11 a.m. in North Haven.

Fun bonus activities happening at the Maritime Aquarium this weekend. “Strive for the Gold” Olympic-themed activities for the kids (example: can you leap as far as a frog) is free with admission.

And there are low-cost kindness crafts at Michael’s on Saturday from 10 to noon because this weekend is National Random Act of Kindness day. Might be a good day to treat someone else to something free!

And just a note, registration is open if you want your child to participate in a free Lego build at the Lego store. That fills up fast so you may want to do that now.

Also, save the date for the end of the month. Tuesday, February 27th is National Pancake Day. You can get a free short stack at IHOP. They just ask that you make a donation towards local children’s hospitals.
