(WTNH)– This week’s Report It recap is full of love with some other great pictures sprinkled in.
Let’s talk about love, since after all this week was Valentine’s Day. A time to celebrate hearts, flowers, the color red-you know all that good stuff.
Pearl the squirrel got in on all the holiday action, then again she celebrates everything.
Congratulations to McGruff who married his longtime girlfriend Faith.
For the holiday a mailman decided to make his deliveries dressed as cupid.
Jean was serenaded at work, her husband sent along the Valley Chordsmen.
St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Madison went to the local train station on Ash Wednesday to give ashes to people on their way to work.
This week a lot of birds were out too.
From eagles to seagulls, even a hawk in Prospect.
A snowy owl was caught fighting with a northern harrier at Hammonassett State Park, not sure who won that battle.
The Hamden High School dance team placed in the double finals in a National Dance championship. While these two were cheering on Team USA at South Korea 2018 and clearly they’re not in Connecticut right now.
Tate and his girlfriend Angelica in Wallingford celebrated their 100th day of school by dressing like they were 100-years-old.
Speaking of getting older, a great big happy birthday to News 8 viewer Mary Grace Pino in Meriden. I won’t say how old she is, but if you’re good at math-take a decade and multiply it by 7.
Finally, those beautiful sunrises and sunsets from across the state seem to be getting better with each passing week.
Keep those pictures coming!
