Hartford police investigate Tuesday afternoon shooting

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A shooting in Hartford is under investigation on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Hartford police, a person suffered a non-life threatening wound during the incident on Edgewood Street.

Officials say the victim is a convicted felon who was previously arrested in Feb. 2017 on gun and robbery-related charges.

Hartford police say marijuana and crack cocaine were also found on the scene.

Police have not released any names at this time.

There has been no word as to what may have led up to the shooting.
