SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — A Terryville man turned himself in on Tuesday after learning of an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
According to police, 37-year-old Jeffrey Couture was doing handyman work on a job at a house in Southington.
Officials say over the course of three days, Couture stole more than $10,000 in jewelry and took loose change from a jar in the home.
Police say he then sold some of the jewelry to area pawn shops. Units were able to recover some of the items.
Couture has been charged with Larceny in the 2nd Degree.
