State Senate Democrats propose overhaul of CT’s Sexual Harassment & Sexual Assault statutes

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– State Senate Democrats are proposing a complete overhaul of Connecticut’s Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault statutes.

They say tougher penalties are needed, as well as longer statute of limitations and mandatory training and education.

Several women in the state senate are expected to be present to endorse the proposed changes.

Complete details will be released later Tuesday.
