PD: Old Saybrook teen arrested for concerning behavior

OLD SAYBROOK, Conn. (WTNH) — Following an investigation into a teen’s concerning behavior authorities arrested a 17-year-old on Tuesday.

Police say a 17-year-old was arrested and charged with breach of peace after students and parents voiced concerns about the person’s comments and actions.

Officials say there was no evidence that revealed that there was a credible threat against any school in the town of Old Saybrook. However, they say there may be an increase of police presence at schools this week.

The Old Saybrook Police Department reminds residents that all suspicious and/or concerning behavior must be reported to law enforcement officials immediately.
