Exit on Route 2 in Marlborough closed after life-threatening crash

MARLBOROUGH, Conn. (WTNH)–Route 2 eastbound in Marlborough is closed at Exit 15 after a one-car accident with life-threatening injuries. The car went off an overpass, according to police.

The right lane has been closed in the area.

The incident was reported at 3:27 p.m.

Police said drivers in the area should seek an alternate route. There is no word on when the exit or lane will be reopened.
