Murphy set to attend homelessness prevention discussion

(WTNH) — United States Senator Chris Murphy will attend a discussion on the progress the state of Connecticut has made to prevent and end homelessness on Friday.

Senator Murphy will provide an update on his efforts to fight the Trump administration‘s decision to end the HUD-VASH program.

The HUD-VASH program has helped house thousands of veterans since 2010.

The discussion begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Augusta Curtis Cultural Center in Meriden.
