Overpopulation forces rescue dogs from Texas to Connecticut

(WTNH)–Are you in the market for a new dog?

Some four-legged friends from Texas just arrived on Friday night, and they’re ready to be adopted. They’re sent from Texas to Connecticut because of an overpopulation of rescue animals down there.

“We do it because in Texas and the south in general, people don’t always spay and neuter their pets and we have an over-population of dogs and cats,” said one volunteer.
