Report It Recap: February 23, 2018

(WTNH) — This week’s Report It recap is full of unbelievable pictures of nature across the state.

Another week and the weather is still all over the place.

First, there was more snow on Saturday and it certainly made for some beautiful scenery early Sunday. Everything was coated in white.

The heavy, wet snow was perfect for making a snowman and doing some sledding.

Micehlle in Watertown made a snow sculpture, which I’m still trying to wrap my head around this.

However, all the snow quickly melted.

Mother nature turned up the thermostat and the warmer temperatures arrived.

It was nice enough to go to the beach, maybe for a walk.

The warmer weather was causing a great deal of confusion for all those spring flowers. Some coming out a couple months early.

We also saw a lot of fog this week, some of it seen at Tweed New Haven Airport.

This week was also National Love Your Pet Day and that had so many of you sending in countless pictures of your four-legged friends. All of them were pretty adorable.

Pepper Jack the duck in Stonington spent Valentine’s Day with one of her best friends, Polo the Australian Shepherd.

Keep those pictures coming!
