Capitol Report: Debate continues on gun control

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — More than a week after the Parkland, Florida school shooting, the debate continues over how to keep kids safe in the classroom.

President Donald Trump suggested arming some of our teachers, but this idea did not sit will with Governor Dannel Malloy and Senator Richard Blumenthal.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, the head of the NRA, Wayne LaPierre, called out Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy and others for politicizing the Parkland shooting.
