Student charged after making alleged threat at RHAM Middle School

HEBRON, Conn. (WTNH) — A boy is facing charges after police say a threat was made at a school in Hebron.

According to Connecticut State Police, on Tuesday night around 10:00 p.m., units were dispatched to an incident involving an alleged verbal threat made against RHAM Middle School.

Officials say an investigation determined the incident happened during lunch on Monday when three witnesses heard a boy make a threat against the school.

Following the investigation, police located the student and issued a juvenile misdemeanor summons. He was charged with breach of Peace and Threatening in the 2nd Degree.

The boy is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
