8 Minute Meals: Brunchberry Croissant Burger

(WTNH) — Chef and blogger Jules Esposito makes her Brunchberry Croissant Burger, which she debuted on The Rachael Ray Show.

In February, Connecticut chef and blogger Jules Esposito was featured on The Rachael Ray Show for a Cook Your Way To Culinary School Competition. For the competition, she was asked to make a burger that represented herself. She only had $40 and 15 minutes to gather up her ingredients. That’s when her Brunchberry Croissant Burger was born!

The ingredients include:

-1 sliced granny smith apple

-sweetened Italian sausage (infused with maple syrup)

-mixed berry compote combined with squeezed juice from an orange

-arugula dressed in lemon juice and a pinch of salt

-marcscarpone mixed with maple syrup

-All the ingredients fit between a lightly toasted croissant.

Jules, as one of the runner up finalists in the competition, walked away with a $5,000 scholarship, $500 worth of cookware, and an amazing experience.
